Visiting Marilyn Stewart for the weekend was her sister Elsie Martin of Devon, Alta. They hadn't seen each other for five years so it was a most enjoyable time.
Leon and Melanie Lefeber of Cold Lake, Alta, Monica Denis of Edmonton, Alta. and Morris Stewart of Leduc, Alta. Were all visiting with Jean Stewart last weekend. They all attended the RM of Paynton's100th anniversary. It was a very nice day with people reminiscing and visiting. They had adelicious supper and entertainment by Brad Johner and family. I had the pleasure of attending with Jean Stewart.
Colleen Koski had a yard sale last Friday and Saturday. She said it didn't turn out too bad. The weather was very co-operative.
Thanks again to all who brought vegetables and apples to the apartments.
August is almost over and school will soon be back in swing. The holidays have been great and soon we will be back into routine.
Tuesday coffee at the suites was enjoyed playing bingo. Thanks to you all for the birthday wishes and the lovely cake with the most exquisite candle. I appreciated it all.
