We hope all students are enjoying their Easter holidays. Some students from Waseca are enjoying a tour of Greece and Italy.

We hope all students are enjoying their Easter holidays. Some students from Waseca are enjoying a tour of Greece and Italy. Maidstone Grade 10, 11 and 12 students, including Danielle Hult, Anne and Beth Nerbas, Treana Weisner, Mackenzie Decker and Cassandra Bullock and parents Dianne Nerbas and Kathy Bullock from Waseca, are among the travelers.

Evelyn Janus is enjoying a visit from her sister, Ethel Giesbrecht.

Monday, Chelsea Sutherland was married in Calgary. Her grandmother, Ruth Sutherland, and uncle, Lyle Sutherland, travelled there to attend the wedding. Our best wishes to the happy couple.

University students are busy writing exams. Among students attending university or college are Luke James, Morgan Sutherland and Shane Sutherland. Best wishes for success.

Bev and Vic Hult returned Sunday from a week spent visiting their son Todd, his wife Christina and granddaughter Sydney in Calgary.

Saturday, April 28 plan to assist with the annual Waseca clean up. Clean up of the village, the heritage church and the Waseca Cemetery are all scheduled for that day. If the weather is fine a paint job of the interior of the church is planned.

The clean up is becoming less difficult since it has been scheduled as a regular yearly event. All thanks to those who regularly take part. Waseca firefighters are sponsoring the noon lunch. Plan to be ready to work at 10 a.m.

Leah Nabis, who is attending Lakeland College studying to be an LPN, is among the students in this field who are spending five weeks working at Pine Island Lodge, Maidstone. Jim McNight, RN, a Waseca resident, is instructor for the five weeks.

Did you know the banana, which we all enjoy so much, cannot reproduce itself? It can be propagated only by the help of man.
