Students host Valentine supper

I'm back from a month's holiday in Mesa, Ariz., a guest of Joan Smith and with a friend Margaret Huard. It was a most pleasant holiday and we did just so many things including a day trip to Mexico and an afternoon at Red Mountain, in the desert.

I'm back from a month's holiday in Mesa, Ariz., a guest of Joan Smith and with a friend Margaret Huard. It was a most pleasant holiday and we did just so many things including a day trip to Mexico and an afternoon at Red Mountain, in the desert. We experienced frost for two mornings (unusual) and two days of heavy rain. Other than that it was glorious sunshine.

Our sympathy goes out to the Kissick family on the passing of Larry Kissick. His mother Dorothy Kissick is a resident of the apartments here.

Sympathy to Melinda Dubyk and Riley. Mervin Bodnarchuk, partner and dad, passed away on Jan. 24. Melinda was our caretaker at the apartments at one time.

We enjoyed Tuesday morning coffee at the Pine Island Suites. We made lefse that we had with morning coffee.

We would like to say congratulations to May Ford who celebrated her 90th birthday Feb. 11. They will have a cake for her later on when all the family can be there. Colleen Koski and Riley had pizza with her.

Val Morris and Colleen Koski spent a day shopping in Lloydminster.

Sunday, a number of the apartment people enjoyed the Valentine supper put on by the high school class assisted by Mrs. Franks. They did an excellent job with decorating, serving and entertaining. They gave out Valentine gifts to the lucky people who had their names drawn. Thank you, people! It was just great!
