Feb. 10 the Golden Age Supper for anyone over 70 was held in the Legion Hall. This event is sponsored by the Maidstone High School under the assistance of high school teacher June Franks. The hall was beautifully decorated for Valentine's Day. Long streamers hanging with hearts crisscrossed the hall. The tables were decorated with red table cloths and other suitable decorations. Following a delicious turkey and ham supper prepared by the students, a large number of door prizes were drawn for. Rodney and Brenda Marfleet using the handi van, brought a number of seniors from the Pine Island Lodge and Apartments and others in town who don't drive. It was a most enjoyable evening attended by a large number of seniors. Thank you to all who helped in any way.

Kaiser was played Feb. 11 with high score to Bev Stewart and low to Jean Stewart. Lunch was provided by Bev Stewart.

Bingo was played Feb. 13 with Margaret MacEachern, home from a holiday in the south, doing the calling. Lunch was provided by Tillie Linkert.
