Condolences to Greg and Shauna Ferris on the passing of Greg's dad Cecil Ferris.

Condolences to the Schmidt family on the passing of William (Bill) Schmidt.

Our thoughts and prayers are with both families.

During Saskatchewan Prairie Hockey League playoffs this season, Maymont Settlers wore blue arm bands on their jerseys to honour the memory of Clair McIvor. Clair was an important part of the Maymont community and volunteered countless hours to the rink and this year's playoff season was dedicated to him. He was a faithful fan of the Maymont Settlers, and would have enjoyed the games this year. Although the playoffs ended sooner than we wanted, the Settlers fans are very proud of their team and look forward to next year.

The Maymont Dance Club competed at Aberdeen dance competition the weekend of April 6. While all dancers had a great competition, the senior girls' jazz group was asked to participate in the dance off and ended up getting second over all. Congratulations to all the girls.
