Some "spring like" weather the last few days has been enjoyed by all. Monday the temperature rose to 7 C, with sunshine. Rain or snow had been forecast, but that didn't materialize Monday.
My Feb. 27 news columns got mixed up under Waseca News heading. Some of the Forest Bank news was not printed. Perhaps I had not faxed it in properly. It is rather old news now, but I am repeating it.
Darran and Nichole Blyth, with family, Josh, Gabriel and Aubrey took advantage of the school break in February to spend some time in California.
Florence Pike enjoyed a visit from her granddaughter, Michelle, her husband, Eric Tiegen and their family Feb. 23.
Keith and Debbie Pike and Kevin and Yvonne Pike returned earlier in February from holidays spent in Hawaii. They each travelled with friends to the islands. Kevin and Yvonne spent two weeks there and Keith and Debbie were there for a month. They enjoyed the sights, the Hawaiian entertainment and the beaches. Melanie and Morris Freeston travelled there to spend some time with them as did Debbie's cousins from Victoria, B.C.
It is good to see Donald Young around again after his recent surgery in Saskatoon. Keep improving, Don!
Wayne and Jane Pike are presently spending some time in Mexico. They are holidaying now after attending a family wedding there.
Gully Gus says, "With the 'non-movement' of grain these days the result for farmers has been, 'my-grain headaches."
