There's a new exhibition at the Chapel Gallery in North Battleford. The featured artist is Bonny Macnab of Mervin in an exhibition entitled Reflections of the Earth. Macnab has created hand painted silk panels that illuminate the Chapel Gallery through colourful reflections and pattern movement. Macnab, winner of a Canadian Institute of Portrait Artists National Open Exhibition award for excellence, is a watercolour, oil and silk painter well known in Saskatchewan. Guest artists Dean Bauche, Karlie King, and Jay Kimball have been invited to show selected works in conjunction with Macnab's silk panels because she associates a kindred spirit of water among their works.
