Real life couple, veteran actors Linda Lyon Walls and Jim Walls, star in Battlefords Community Players' last dinner theatre of the season, Sexy Laundry, at the Dekker Centre next week.

The play is about a couple who try to reintroduce some spark into their marriage by a romantic trip to a luxurious hotel. Sparks do fly and tears may flow as you are torn between the hilarity of the moment and sympathy for the situation that will touch us all.

Audience members also have a unique opportunity to add spark to their own relationships by buying tickets for a chance to win a romance package sponsored by local businesses: a night at the penthouse suite at the Gold Eagle Lodge with chocolates, roses and sparkling cider or wine, a special dinner for two by candlelight from Crandleberry's, delivered to the penthouse suite and gift certificates from Shared Secrets and Creative Interiors by the Designer Gals.

Director Donna Challis assures the audience of an amazing evening at the theatre. The preview is April 8 with show only. On April 10, 11 and 12 audience members may choose the show only, or dinner and show.

Sexy Laundry is also Battleford Community Players' entry into TheatreFest 2014 in Swift Current in late April
