Last week cards and bingo were cancelled at the Maidstone Drop-In Centre. March 25, cribbage was played with a small attendance. High score went to Bev Stewart and low to Jean Stewart. Lunch was supplied by Dorothy Schwartz.
Bingo was held March 27, with Margaret MacEachern doing the calling. Lunch was provided by Tillie Linkert. The loonie pot was won by Dorothy Schwartz.
At lunch time Bev Stewart entertains us with amusing stories about her husband or grandchildren or jokes that she has been given and from other sources. This is an enjoyable time for all of us. Thanks, Bev. Way to go!
The town men have been very helpful in keeping care of the street and parking lots clear of snow. We really appreciate this, especially in a winter like this when they are so busy with an overwhelming amount of snow. Thanks from all the seniors.
