The Chapel Gallery is proud to present Songs of Joy and Peace with Steve Palmer Friday, Dec. 7.

We invite you and your family to join us as Palmer leads us in a sing along of all the old holiday favourites, as well as sharing some of his own elegant songs.

The Chapel Gallery will be festively decorated and filled with the spirit of the season. The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. with holiday inspired refreshments as well as a chance to do some crafting. Come early to decorate a Christmas card for a loved one or create a three-dimension paper snowflake for yourself or as a gift. The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. with Steve Palmer taking the stage.

Palmer presents a joyous blending of 'original and traditional' Country/Folk, Gospel, and Blues. He offers smooth Travis- and Carter-style guitar playing on both a six- and 12-string guitar. Along with a calming voice and songwriting reminiscent of John Prine or Doc Watson his performance is sure to enliven your senses. His music has been described as "a warm blanket on a cold winter's night." Come experience this warmth during his performance here in North Battleford. For a preview of his music, visit www.spmusic.ca.

This is a family friendly event. All children accompanied by an adult get in free of charge. For more information, call 445-1757 or 445-1760.
