Rivers’ Edge Quilters had a regular monthly meeting March 13. There will be no meeting in April so the next one will be on May 1.
This is an important meeting because members will be electing new officers for the club executive. If you want to be included on the nomination listings please contact Carol Johnson or Darlene Hiltz.
The club had two successful classes. “Twisted Hearts” taught how to use the little twister tool. Members also learned at a “quilt-as-you-go log cabin” workshop. Both were well attended and thank you to Darlene and Pat for showing us the techniques.
Some upcoming events are the Spring Mini Marathon April 23, 24 and 25. There will be a garage sale at the marathon so bring your unwanted and unused quilting related items.
The windup supper is on May 21. Last year Carol Johnson issued us a challenge to bring a picture of a project that we wanted to do and have it finished for next year. Time is up so bring your finished piece to the supper. We are all looking forward to the show and tell.
The quilters meet at the Don Ross Craft Room Monday, Thursday and Friday and always welcome new members.
