Several tenants entertain visitors

Hi there! Here we are into March again. February has just seemed to have flown by. We did get a few nice sunny days, but it's still winter with all our snow. We all hope for better things ahead.

Hi there! Here we are into March again. February has just seemed to have flown by. We did get a few nice sunny days, but it's still winter with all our snow. We all hope for better things ahead. Can spring be far behind?

Thank you to our decorating committee who made our lounge look so lovely in the Valentine theme for February.

Congratulations go out to all our celebrants who had birthdays in January and February. They were in January - Alice Bernier, Ada Pasutto, Shelley Bacheldor and Stella Goll. In February - Orville Fehr, Ida Baker, Harry Smith, Raymond Corbeil, Orlea Taylor and Shirley Tebay.

Everyone enjoyed a game of Kaiser Bingo and then ended a nice sociable evening with a delicious dessert of cake, ice cream and strawberries.

Some of our tenants had visitors last month.

Laurine Wahlburg had her daughter visit her from Qu'Appelle Valley for a few days. Hope you had a nice time together, Laurine.

Mary Birch was very glad to have her great-granddaughter come and see her from Scott. I hope you had a nice visit, Mary.

Barb Foats grandson celebrated his 12th birthday in Battleford surrounded by his family, namely great-grandparents and parents. It must have been a wonderful birthday.

Unfortunately the flu bug has been going through our building recently. Some have had to go to the hospital for a few days. Get well wishes and a speedy recovery to you all.

Our sympathy goes out to Anne Ewanchuk whose sister passed away in Vancouver.

Also we are thinking of Ken Ferner's family with sympathy as he passed away a while ago. He was a tenant in our building.

We are sorry that Stella Goll and Harry Smith moved out. They have been living in the high rise for many years. We hope they enjoy their new homes.

That's all for now. Be careful folks, it's very slippery out there.
