Seniors invited to Golden Age Supper

Kaiser was played at the Maidstone Drop In Centre Jan. 14. High went to Jean Hartman and low to Lil McMillan. Lil supplied the lunch. Bingo was played Jan. 16 with a good turnout. Volunteer callers were Dorothy Schwartz and Bev Stewart.

Bingo was played Jan. 16 with a good turnout. Volunteer callers were Dorothy Schwartz and Bev Stewart. Lunch was provided by Dorothy Harmel and Bev Stewart. The loonie pot was divided among three people.

The annual chilli on a bun, plus desert and refreshments was held Jan. 16 with a turnout of 28 persons. Blessing was given by vice-president Shanon Smith. Raffle tickets on a quilt were available for $2 or three for $5. The quilt squares were made by Edna Flaman and quilted by Margaret MacEachern. The quilt is on display at the centre and will be drawn for at the Father's Day Tea in June.

Catch the 10 Whist was played Jan. 21. High went to Jean Hartman and low to Jean Stewart. Lunch was provided by Jean Hartman.

Bingo was played Jan. 23. Calling was done by Bev Stewart and Jean Hartman. Lunch was provided by Norma Hougan and Jean Stewart.

A golden age free supper will be held at the Maidstone Legion Hall on Sunday, Feb. 10 at 5 p.m., sponsored by the Maidstone High School students and staff. Anyone 70 or over from this area is welcome!
