A big thank you goes out to the town workers for keeping our parking lot free of snow and sanding the parking lot after the recent freezing rain, which left it like a skating rink.

Don't forget the January-February potluck birthday luncheon Feb. 17 at noon.

Bingo was held Feb. 3 with Shannon Smith and Bev Stewart doing the calling. Sharon Ruud won the loonie pot. Lunch was provided by Dorothy Schwartz.

The monthly meeting was held Feb. 5 with vice-president Shannon Smith charing the meeting. President Cheryl MacAskill has had to step down due to health reasons. Social director Doreen Hope attended the meeting and brought us up to date on the Saskatchewan Seniors Fitness Association, who asked to use our centre for their annual meeting and fun day in April. She also informed us the Saskatchewan Provincial Senior Games will be held in the Battlefords this summer. Actual dates for these events are to follow. Following the meeting, lunch was provided by Dorothy Schwartz assisted by Cheryl MacAskill. Next meeting will be March 4.
