The first School Community Council Literacy Night was held on the evening of March 31. Stations were set up throughout the school with activities.
There was a bookmark making station, a fairytale crossword , a poetry writing station, Boogle, magazine letter hunt, roll a story, stained glass egg making station, read a story with your family, read around the gym activity and of course, a snack station. Students were given a passport and travelled around to each station. Their passport was stamped after they completed the activity.

The Grade 9 and 10 class was awarded first prize, the Grade 4 and 5 class was second and the Grade 6 and 7 class was third. Each of the winning classes received an Easter basket full of treats.
April 16, there will be an Easter Bunny Challenge at school. Two "bunnies" will be hopping around the school at recess and lunch. If a student catches the bunnies, they will receive a small prize.
