Our weather has been mostly very mild this winter. Saturday and Sunday some rain fell which made for very icy roads. A few centimetres of snow also fell. But on Sunday, temperatures were again up to more than plus four degrees Celsius with lots of sunshine. The forecast is for mild weather for the rest of the week.Â
We are pleased to know that Florence Pike is home again after spending a few days in the hospital. Recent visitors with Florence were Wayne and Jane Pike of Meadow Lake, and her daughter Laurie and husband, Dana Kobas, of Strathmore, Alta.Â
Kevin and Yvonne Pike and members of their family are home once again after some time spent enjoying the sun in Hawaii.Â
Darren and Nichole Pike and family took advantage of the school spring break by visiting Disneyland, a very enjoyable trip.Â
The school spring break was also interesting for those who went ice-fishing at lakes to the north. I haven't heard how successful they were.Â
