Welcome home to Denise Newton who is home from an enjoyable holiday in Victoria, B.C.

Rose Danychuk would like to say a big thank you to Elsie Skolrood for arranging a birthday party for her. She was delighted when the farm neighbour women stopped in for a game of cards and birthday cake. Congratulations, Rose. Hope you have many more.

Luke James stopped by to visit with grandma Tillie Linkert.

Morning coffee at the suites was enjoyed playing bingo.

Many thanks to everyone who has been so good to me since I've been down with the flu. It really means a lot.

Morris Stewart of Leduc, Alta. was a Friday visitor with his mom Jean Stewart.

Barry Innes of Tomahawk, Alta. is here visiting his sister Anne Reeds, brother George Innes and his aunt Jean Stewart.

Today a beautiful spring day hope it keeps on.

Colleen Koski was to North Battleford for a medical appointment. Lynn Dave drove her down.

April 2: Yesterday was April Fool's Day. I didn't get caught. How about you?

I would like to apologize for making a mistake in a news item. It was Cindy Blanchette who visited her mom Dorothy Kissick not Andy Blanchette. Sorry if it caused any trouble.

Colleen Koski is babysitting the cats while Riley and Chantal are in Mexico. They are all doing well.

Dorothy Kissick has spent a few days with eye and teeth appointments. She was in Lloydminster Tuesday for eyes and Wednesday to Battleford for eyes. Wednesday was a tooth appointment in Unity. Hope everything is OK.

Monday I enjoyed a day in Saskatoon with daughter Hazel. I was able to go with Keith and Claire Paton, who had medical appointments. The weather was good and so were the roads.

Not much news. Everyone is very excited for spring to arrive. Some people have seen gophers, geese and crows. No crocuses, yet.
