Ever wondered how they make those hooked rugs you see in collectors' shops? Well now you can learn how it is done by joining instructor Karlie King to create art for your floor.

Karen Kowalski will take you on a unique artistic journey into the world of making masks, whether for the wall or a party, this will inspire the masquerade within.

You could also learn the unique art of print making and hand stitching taught by Carol Schmoldt. This can be used for fabric or paper works of art such as greeting cards. Beginners and veterans alike are encouraged to take part. Schmoldt is doing a second workshop that will take you into a textile inspired day of collage with use of fabrics, papers and multiple layers.

Just relax, it is a harmless pencil and piece of paper. Instructor Heather Hochbaum will guide you into a state of artistic bliss as you overcome the artist block and learn to create in a variety of drawing media.

Please contact the Chapel Gallery at 445-1757 for registration fees and workshop dates and times.
