Residents will welcome warmer weather

I'm home after a two-month holiday in Prince George, B.C. It was an enjoyable time spent with my daughter and her family. The weather there was a lot warmer than here. While I was away one of our apartment members, Arnold Stewart, passed away.

While I was away one of our apartment members, Arnold Stewart, passed away. We pass our condolences to his wife Marilyn and family.

A good friend of mine, Madeline Blanchette, also passed away. My condolences to all her family.

Theresa Kennedy, who was once an apartment resident, also passed away. Theresa has been in the lodge for some time. Her funeral was Feb. 26. I was able to attend.

Chantal had Colleen Koski down for supper Sunday night.

Jean Stewart said it was too cold to be out and do anything, so it seems like being in jail. Don't worry, Jean, spring is just around the corner.

We would like to welcome Laurens and Molly den-Ouden into apartment No. 6B. Hope you get settled and enjoy your new place.

Tillie Linkert accompanied her granddaughter Stacey Gabruch to Palm Springs, Calif. for a week. While there she got to meet her new great-granddaughter Mya Nicholson, who was only seven days old.

Although the weather has been extremely cold everyone seems to be looking forward to spring. March came in like a lion. Will it go out like a lamb? Time will tell.

Monday, Margaret McLaren took me to Saskatoon for an eye appointment. The roads were very good and the weather not bad. It was a pleasant day.
