Jon and Irene Kerr are home from a two-week holiday camping at Meota. The weather was really good, but this last week was rather damp and chilly.

Allan and Vicki Taylor of North Battleford were here to visit with their mom Rita (Taylor) Morrison.

Bev Stewart and Cheryl McAskill enjoyed the corn roast at the museum Monday.

Dorothy Kissick’s daughter Vicki has spent the summer at Birch Lake. She has been in several times to visit her mom and take her to Lloydminster.

Dorothy Kissick attended the baby shower for her great-granddaughter Nightly Blanchette. Nathan and Casey are the proud parents.

Byron Latt of Cold Lake, Alta., stopped by and had coffee with his mom Norma.

Duncan MacEachern of Marsden and I were to Cold Lake, Alta., to spend the weekend with Ken and Pam MacEachern. Although it rained four and a half inches, we had a very enjoyable time. The rain has put a stop to harvest but if the weather stays as nice as today they will be going again.

A memorial for the late Morris Davidson, a one-time resident at the apartments, was held Sept. 11 at the Drop In.
