The City of North Battleford Historic Archives has complied Reflections Of North Battleford to commemorate the 100th birthday of the city. It is a pictorial history portraying the promise, progression and prosperity of 100 years.
As you look through the pages, you will glimpse the past, recognize and admire the achievements of city forefathers, who built this great city, and see the potential of the future. Young and old, current and past residents of the city will enjoy this journey back in time.
To assist with your holiday and birthday gift list, the book, together with other centennial merchandise, will be available for sale at the Co-op Mall on Dec. 18 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The calendar of events for 2013 Centennial Celebrations include: Dec. 31 - Centennial Family Day and New Year's Party; Feb. 3 - Centennial Winter Carnival; March 10 - Centennial Seniors' Tea Party; May 1 - Centennial Birthday Party; July 1 - Centennial Canada Day Celebrations; Dec. 31 - Centennial Closing Ceremony.
