It is good to be experiencing real harvest weather this week. Last week the weather was unpredictable with light showers nearly every day which slowed down harvesting. If the present weather continues, some people will finish their harvest this week.

John and Calinda Evans with children Logan and Charlotte, from Calgary, Alta., are presently visiting with John's parents, Keith and Eileen Evans. John, of course, has been helping with the harvest for the past week.

Keith and Debbie Pike spent some time in August at the West Coast. Accompanied by their daughter, Cerise, her husband Nelson and son Dominic, they visited family in Victoria. They also journeyed to Seattle to visit cousins. While there they attended a Blue Jay - Seattle Mariners' baseball game.

Presently Keith and Debbie's cousins Ken and Sheila Hawkins from Victoria are their guests. They are intrigued by the harvesting operations and have been helping where they can.
