Catch the 10 Whist was played Oct. 17 at Maidstone Drop In Centre with lunch provided by Hettie Richardson, assisted by Jean Stewart. High score went to Lil McMillan and low to Jean Hartman.
Bingo was played Oct. 19 with Joan Smith and Margaret MacEachern calling. Lunch was provided by Dorothy Harmel assisted by Norma Hougen. The loonie pot was won by Denise Newton.
Oct. 21 was the birthday potluck supper with 25 seniors in attendance. At the birthday table were Ray Stewart and Jean Hartman. Missing were Lil Burgess, Theresa Kennedy, Ruth Jesse, Vera Hintz and Daphne McLaren. After supper entertainers were two high school students, Ty Higgins and George Nyame, playing guitars and singing.
Cribbage was played Oct. 24 with Dorothy Schwartz supplying lunch assisted by Jean Hartman. High score was a tie between Dorothy Kissick and Jean Hartman. Low went to Milt McMillan.
Bingo was held Oct. 26 with Joan and Shannon Smith doing the calling. Lunch was provided by Jean Stewart.
Games of choice were played Oct. 31. Those who attended played a few games of cribbage and enjoyed lunch provided by Lil McMillan. They hurried home to be there in case some scary Halloween kids came.
