If you enjoy potluck suppers, you had better move to Sonningdale. I've never been to so many. The last one I attended was on Sept. 30. It was the big birthday bash, where those from ages 80 down to 50 were celebrated. A good time was had by all.
Last Wednesday, the seniors were honoured by a visit from Kelly Block, our local MP, who was accompanied by her associate, Sue Reddekopp.
Many were in attendance and an enjoyable afternoon was spent getting acquainted and asking pertinent questions. We didn't even have to pay for our treats that day either, as Kelly donated free pie and coffee for all. Thank you Kelly and thank you very much for coming.
The next potluck supper will be held on Saturday, Oct. 20 at 5p.m. when we shall be celebrating the engagement of David Klassen of Sonningdale to Tina Remple of Warman. The "big day" will be in April of 2013 in Warman. Congratulations to you both and every blessing.
Our fall potluck will be held on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 5 p.m. Maybe we'll see you there.
