HUMBOLDT — A continuing interest in Humboldt Broncos merchandise over the hockey season has netted the hockey team close to $26,600.

“We continue to sell Broncos merchandise and Broncos apparel,” said Mike Yager of Spotlight Sport and Corporate Wear. “We decided we were going to continue to give a portion of each sale of each item to the Humboldt Broncos so we can help them rebuild their team and help support the team.”

Spotlight is only one of two official distributors of Broncos merchandise, selling online, in their store and at home games.

Jamie Brockman, the president of the team, said the donation meant a lot.

“Mike and Shannon at Spotlight here have been great supporters of the Humboldt Broncos for a long, long time and to have them work as hard as they can to be official merchandizers of the Humboldt Broncos, we appreciate it.”
