Jan. 26 was Minor Hockey Day in Neilburg. The initiation team had a game at 10 a.m., the midget girls played at 1 p.m. and the pee wees at 3 p.m. Children who wore their Monarch jersey at the Monarch game Saturday evening were given a free pop and chips. Members of the Manitou Evangelical Free Church supported Minor Hockey Day by working in the booth, which freed up parents so they could fully enjoy their children's games.
