MAIDSTONE – April 16 – Some of this may be old news, but it is of interest anyway. Denise Newton’s grandson Shae was on the peewee team that won the Saskatchewan trophy. Congratulations to you all.

Thank you to the Maidstone-Eldon Recreation Board for the lovely evening and words given to the volunteers for 2019 – Dave Speers, Communities in Bloom and myself. It was very much appreciated.

Dawn and Keith Hartman of Lloydminster were here to visit their mom, Jean Hartman.

Last Thursday, I was in Saskatoon and visited with my daughter Hazel.

Last weekend was the Maidstone Trade Fair. It was well attended with many vendors in attendance.

I think it looks like spring is here – the geese, robins and crocuses are back. The rain we had has washed the show mold off and the grass is starting to grow. There could be snow yet, but it won’t last long.

Happy Easter, everyone.
