Oilfield company supports arena project

Arena renovations will continue this spring with the foundation and drainage as the main focus. Thank you to Pipemaster Oilfield Services for a substantial donation that has helped move this project forward.

Pipemaster Oilfield Services recently made a significant donation to the Nielburg arena project. In the photo are Hal Wright of Pipemaster and Scott Goodfellow and Rylie Perkins of the Neilburg Recreation Board.

Arena renovations will continue this spring with the foundation and drainage as the main focus. Thank you to Pipemaster Oilfield Services for a substantial donation that has helped move this project forward. This project and future projects needed to upgrade the arena will require additional funding. If you or your company is interested in helping out financially, the recreation board is accepting donations of all amounts. Amounts of $500 and over will be recognized on the sponsor wall.

The Manitou Creative Quilters will be holding their semi-annual gala night April 26. This year the guest presenter will be Alice Swan from Vermilion, Alta. Swan teaches quilt classes. There will be a silent auction; proceeds raised will be donated to STARS. If you are interested in attending contact one of the members or Janice Graham and your name will be placed on a list for any available tickets.

The Village Green Park rejuvenation project is going to get underway this spring. There has been projects going on to raise funds to remove the sand and replace it with poured recycled tires. They are also looking at replacing some of the equipment. They are always looking for helpers. If you are interested in lending a hand give Diane Elchyson a call or leave your name at the village office.
