The rainy weather certainly created some challenges around Unity. The motocross tracks were forced to close June 24 until repairs could be made to the track as a result of excess rain wear and tear on their track’s course.

Remember to always be aware of suspicious or unusual activity in your neighborhoods and town, and report it! Vandalism took place over the June 22 weekend to the memorial gardens created by nurses on the hospital grounds. Some residents have also been reporting either loud groups of individuals late at night, or other mischievous acts about town. It’s up to us to be our community’s eyes and ears and the police won’t know of these incidents if we don’t report them.

Road construction has begun on the end of Main Street replacing those water and sewer lines so some mild traffic inconveniences while this is being done.
