Welcome Ted and Anita Klassen, who moved into the home of Darelle and Saskia, and to Jerry Moore and his family, who moved into Helen Muriel's home. Aaron and Kendra and their daughter will be living in AJ's house.
The hall was filled with family and friends to celebrate Effie Bulmer's 80th birthday July 24 in the Ruddell Hall. The sun was shining, music was playing and there was an opportunity catch up news for those who hadn't seen one another for awhile. A lunch was followed by birthday cake.
Birthday wishes go out to Albert Beaudoin who will be the young age of 70 at the end of July.
Effie and Albert, on your birthdays, we wish you pleasure and joy, another year of laughter, fun, surprises, love and happiness. We hope all of your wishes come true.
We'd like to wish Don Spence a happy retirement. Don started with Saskatchewan Wheat Pool in 1991 and will retire from Viterra in July 2011 after 20 years. Don will continue farming.

Please join Mel Deagnon and Jim Beaudoin at the Maymont Hotel Saturday from 7 to 11 p.m. for a jam session. Everyone welcome to join in.
Aug. 20 is the date of Maymont Bike Rally. Registration is from 9 to 11 a.m. Breakfast is available and open to the public for $5. Rider prizes include a leather jacket and leather vest. There are also ghost rider and cash prizes. The $20 entry fee includes a steak supper that is also open to the public.
July 17 there was a celebration held for the 100-year anniversary of the Maymont Church. The first congregational meeting was held on March 19, 1911. The church was formally opened by Professor E.J. Oliver on Nov.10, 1911. From 1911-25 the church was a Presbyterian congregation. From 1925 until present it is the Sharon United Church.
With approximately 150 people in attendance a church service was led by Leo Monseler, Rev. Jo Ann Hills and Rev. Deb Walker. Marlene Swain returned to accompany the choir alongside Valerie Gray and Shauna Ferris.
After church a lunch was held at the Maymont School where conversations of fond memories flowed for hours. After lunch there was a program where letters were read from those who could not attend, a 100-year anniversary plaque was presented by Sarah Beaudoin and Gertrude Sherman and speeches from Reverend Frank Myers children, Ted and Donna. Ted and Donna travelled from British Columbia and Ontario to share stories about their father, who was the minister at Maymont Church for 37 years.
