Elections and art shows were the topics of Tuesday's Battlefords Art Club meeting. A good number of members met for our usual session. It was good to welcome back some vacationing members.
Planning began for our fall show, Sparkle with Art. It will be held Nov. 1 and 2. Evelyn Gardiner is convening this event.
Rosemary Stadnyk reported plans for the Marigold Market that is happening Oct. 25 and 26. The art club decided to have a table in this show.
Elections took place and Michael Brokop has accepted the role of president of our group. Evelyn Gardiner and Chris Hodge are the vice-presidents. Rita Young continues as our capable treasurer.
There was discussion about possible workshops for the coming year. New members are welcome.
