Lost Connection, the play written by NBCHS student Kay-Lynne Collier, received a great reception provincially, bringing in a total of five awards.

After winning regionally, the play was taken to the provincial level, to compete in the Saskatchewan Drama Association Provincial Festival at the University of Regina May 10.

Patrick French and William Hales, the adjudicators, gave the play a total of five Merit Awards; Jean van der Merwe for acting, Kay Lynne Collier for writing the play, Colton Hutchison for lighting, Michael Kahnapace and Alysha Dyck for wardrobe and makeup and Jonathan Stevens received the Debbie Baker Cheer award.

The play's technical production was also respected, and the play was the runner-up in the Best Technical Production category.

The May 10 performance might be the last for the play, which was previously shown in North Battleford and regionally before its provincial showcase.

Brendan Wiklund, drama teacher with NBCHS, described the experience of provincials as "positive and successful for our students."
