Both the North Battleford and Saskatoon Western Development Museums have been recognized by RVwest Magazine as part of their 2014 Reader's Choice Awards.
The North Battleford Western Development Museum received the highest honour, the Platinum Reader's Choice Award. Saskatoon received the Gold Reader's Choice Award. Both awards were in the favourite Saskatchewan attraction category. The Reader's Choice winners were chosen by the readers, representing RVers' favourite places, attractions and other RV related topics.
"We are honoured to receive RVwest Magazine Reader's Choice Platinum Award for favourite attraction in Saskatchewan," says Joyce Smith, manager of the North Battleford WDM.
"It is wonderful to be appreciated by the people who enjoy our museum. We can accommodate all types and sizes of RVs and look forward to many more visitors this summer. We thank everyone for their support."
Jason B. Wall, manager of the Saskatoon WDM, says, "It's great news to hear that the museum was honoured with these awards. This is wonderful feedback from visitors to the museum, an affirmation that all the hard work put in by both staff and volunteers in making this a wonderful place for people to explore and enjoy is worthwhile."
