Singing Merle Haggard was John Reddekopp. Rene L'Heureux did a great Dolly Parton but forgot her blonde wig. April LaFreniere sang Mary Chapin Carpenter and Orest Demyon played the fiddle and the saxophone.
The Great Rock Band played old time rock 'n roll. Dave Hiebert led the group. He was joined by Doreen Duchnitski, Dale Paulow and the young Lucas Lafreniere who filled in for one of the musicians who didn't make it. Great job, Lucas; you were meant to be on stage.
Mel Deagnon did a great Grandpa Jones along with Minnie Pearl performed by Sheila Bachela. Kolan Bulmer MC entertained with Mel Deagnon doing rock and roll music. Cute disguises, guys. The audience was also entertained by Ervin Wuttunee who sang mean Johnny Cash.
