Maymont Library had their annual tea and bake sale Dec. 15.
Mel Deagnon won the $50 gift card and Celeine Armstrong from Landis won the handcrafted item, a memo pad donated by George Casey. Thanks to George and to all who bought tickets and joined. Library board members donated baked goods and helped with the event attended by more than 40. Cheryl Taylor won the door prize.
Maymont Memorial Hall held their Christmas supper at the hall Dec. 15. Members of the hall committee helped and family and friends attended the supper. Games were played and entertainment was provided by Mel Deagnon, Tom Caldwell and Bert Carpentier.
