Minnehaha rally draws 198 riders

There isn't that much to report this week, but will give you what I have. The 2013 Minnehaha Snowmobile Rally was held Feb. 17. A total of 198 riders enjoyed scenic trails and lots of snow, with riders from Red Deer and Fort McMurray, Alta.

The 2013 Minnehaha Snowmobile Rally was held Feb. 17. A total of 198 riders enjoyed scenic trails and lots of snow, with riders from Red Deer and Fort McMurray, Alta. and Marshall, Ruddell and Warman taking part.

The winners were; first prize - Meagan Mannix, Glaslyn; second prize - Michael Hicks, Glaslyn; third prize - Martin Detillieux, Meota; most ghost hands sold - Kathy Mykytuk; 50/50 - Chase Harbin, Marshall. A big thank you to all who attended, gave door prizes, sponsored the wiener roast and who helped in anyway.

Cavalier Agrow is sponsoring the first annual Edam Farmers' Bonspiel. This event will be March 5 and 6 at the Edam curling rink. In order to curl you must be a farmer, a member of a farmer's family, farm worker or sponsor. The entry fee is $80 and play will be in round robin format.
