The host diocesan council marked its 100th anniversary with the theme "Catholic and Living It." Sept. 19, Notre Dame CWL members served cupcakes to Battlefords District Care residents celebrating birthdays. At a October monthly CWL meeting the group's spiritual advisor, Fr. A Ribbon of Signatures Campaign was held Oct. 14 to 21. Signatures of parishioners against Internet providers who don't always police customers' use of their services, so pornographers are freely distributing images of children being victimized, were collected. A formal petition was submitted to Gerry Ritz MLA will be taken by him to the House of Commons.

Oct. 28, our parish fall supper was co-ordinated by CWL members Erna and Anne and held at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Members are thankful to have the help of so many parishioners in order to make this event a success. Due to early snow and icy conditions, attendance was down to just over 600. A big thank you to all who support this major fundraiser.

Nov. 3, some members will be attending the fall worship to take place at St. Solange Parish in Hafford.

The CWL membership fun night will be held on Nov. 26 or 27 with a wine and cheese and karaoke.
