The Maymont 747 Fastball Club held a reunion on the weekend of July 18 and 19. An impromptu gathering took place at Glenburn Regional Park on the Friday evening, with many former players in attendance.

Registration, team photos and a short program occurred at the Maymont Central School gymnasium Saturday afternoon with 40 former team members present. Murray Gray was thanked for his role in the formation of this very successful fastball team. The Saskatchewan Summer Games team, provincial junior men's champions, provincial senior "B" champions and the Saskatoon Special Men's League champions were recognized.

A fine supper, provided by Cando Catering, and an evening of reminiscing followed.

Neither snow, hail or rain could keep the musicians from coming to a jam session to play at the Maymont Seniors' Centre. Special thanks to Dave Heibert, Pius Fritz and Frank Materi who battled that crazy rain and also to all of those who attended this event July 24. It was a great evening.

A birthday party was held July 27 at the Maymont Seniors' Centre to celebrate Efie Bulmer's birthday with a great turnout. Everyone enjoyed the afternoon. Entertainment was supplied by Kolon Bulmer, Mel Deagnon, Tom Caldwell and Bert Carpentier.
