A meeting was held at the Maidstone Museum May 18 outside on the station platform with distance rules observed.
Danielle Hollingshead presided and Kathy Utri took the minutes. Opening day will be Saturday, June 19. Tours are by appointment only from 10 to 4 p.m. by phoning 306-843-2890.
A big thank you to members and volunteers who helped with the yard cleanup, which is still ongoing.
A raffle is planned to raise funds for ongoing repairs. Prizes are a smoker, Saskatchewan Women of Influence hard-covered book and a knitted afghan. Tickets will be available from museum members.
Kathy is busy planting flowers.
Next meeting will be June 21 at the museum.
