MAIDSTONE – Cribbage was played Monday, March 25, with high score going to Dorothy Schwartz, who supplied lunch. Low went to Lois Myer. Bingo was played Wednesday with Margaret MacEachern and Bev Stewart calling. Lunch was provided by Margaret.

Cribbage was played April 1. I don’t remember who had high score. Lunch was provided by Denice Newton.

Bingo was played Wednesday, April 3, with Margaret MacEachern doing the calling. Lunch was provided by Noele Coulthard. The loonie pot was won by Jean Hartman.

Cards were played Monday, April 8, with high score going to Lois Myer and low to Bev Stewart, who supplied lunch.

The regular monthly meeting followed with Margaret MacEachern as chairperson. Several of the members planned to attend the SSAI regional annual meeting at Cut Knife April 11. Shannon Smith took minutes in the absence of Cheryl McCaskill. Potluck luncheon will be held at noon on April 17 followed by bingo at 2 p.m. The next monthly meeting will be May 8 a 2:45 p.m. Movie night is to be April 26 at 7 p.m. The movie is “How to Train Your Dragon.â€

The annual meeting followed with Denise Newton chairing, starting with a minute of silence for the Drop In members who passed away in our fiscal year. They are Cynthia Donald and Dorothy Kissick. Shannon Smith will see their names are added to the memorial plaque. Most positions stayed the same with Shannon Smith taking over the position of secretary. We still need a president and vice-president as well as new members.

A number of seniors attended the Trade Fair and Museum Silent Auction on the weekend of April 13 and 14. There were more vendors than usual. The door prize was won by Alex Pompu. The weather man co-operated and there was a good attendance both days.
