Congratulations to Ryan Donovan, Tyrel Schonhofer and Cole Sutherland, who are members of Maidstone High School's 2011 graduating class. The graduation exercises took place Saturday evening, June 11. We wish Ryan, Tyrel and Cole all good things in the years to come as they pursue further education and careers.

Belated birthday greetings to Cheryl Perry who was treated to a surprise birthday party Saturday evening, June 11. Guests were treated to a wonderful supper, birthday cake and an evening of visiting and games.
From the Waseca Herald of Dec. 15, 1907: The English church building is nearing completion and with its tower makes quite a landmark in the town.
Application has been made to the board of education to authorize the formation of the Waseca School District. A good site has been promised for the school and until the schoolhouse is built the authorities of the English church have offered the use of their building.
Baker Bros. are expecting a car load of horses to arrive as soon as their new livery barn is completed.
