Two Battlefords scholars were among 1,050 Lakeland College students who earned awards at the college's awards evenings at Lloydminster and Vermilion in March.
Jamie Jamieson of North Battleford earned an Saskatchewan Innovation and Opportunity Scholarship through her veterinary medical assistant studies.
Also earning an opportunity scholarship is Linda Thompson of Battleford who studied in the practical nurse program.
The college distributed $964,839 in scholarships during the awards evenings.
