Recently, on a Sunday evening, the Maidstone Legion Ladies Auxillary met at the club room for a delicious pot luck supper. After supper, service pins were presented. Some of the members were unable to attend but will receive their pens later.
Pins were as follows:
50 years - Renee Johner and Anne Lundquist;
35 years - Bev Schonhofer and Trina Tuplin’
30 years - Mae Hinde, Faye Falcon and Carol Hamlin;
25 years - Lorraine Sinclair, Sharon Banner, Margaret MacEachern, Diana Rhinehart, Phyllis Watson, Lorna Foster;
15 years - Gill Churn;
10 years - Kathy Utri, Lynda Garnier, Janice McConnell, Christine Carlson.
After a short meeting, plans were made to clean the Legion kitchen on Feb. 22 at 9 a.m. Everyone please keep this in mind and mark it on your calendar!
