Rose Danychuk spent a few days in Biggar. While there her two great-grandchildren were baptized. Her daughter Nancy and great-granddaughter brought her home. They stayed overnight going home the next day.
Dorothy Kissick and Bernice Mitchell enjoyed watching the parade July 1. They watched the program and played bingo at the sports grounds. The weather was great so made the day enjoyable.
A number of the apartment people enjoyed July 1 activities at the sports grounds and museum.
Our sympathy to the McMillan family on the passing of Milt McMillan. Milt was a few months short of his 100th year. He will be greatly missed.
Tillie Linkert spent the July 1 week at Loon Lake with all her family. She enjoyed the time there especially seeing how the great-grandchildren have grown.
Colleen Koski has her granddaughter, Jasmine of Strasbourg, visiting. Jasmine will be here for the summer, spending her time with grandma and Uncle Riley and Chantal. Jasmine is looking forward to swimming lessons later on this summer.
Many thanks to the people for the fresh lettuce and vegetables they bring for us. It's great.
July is slipping by quickly and before we know it school will be back in session and the days shorter. Enjoy the sunshine. It's great.
