Kelly Waters, owner operator of The Gog, is hosting Keiffer McLean in performance Thursday, May 15, 7 p.m. in one of a several house concerts she's held this season.
Waters says, "Before you head out for the May long weekend, come enjoy and support a young and up and coming Saskatchewan artist hailing from Regina. He is touring straight to us after showcasing in Toronto for Canadian Music Week."
Waters says, "Although he is only 20 years old, he has played the Regina Folk Festival, Juno Fest, Ness Creek, the Bengough Gateway Festival and was nominated for a CFMA (Canadian Folk Music Award)."
He will perform as a trio at The Gog with a stand-up bassist and a Middle Eastern/Latin percussionist.
As always, says Waters, the $20 charge at the door goes completely to the artists. There will be a donation jar for the provided food/beverages.
