Tillie Linkert was to Edmonton for an eye appointment. Her daughter, Kelly and Ray Gabruch, took her. After the appointment they went to Sylvan Lake to visit a grandson and family, then to Calgary, where they visited two more grandsons and families. They visited at Medicine Hat until Sunday. On arriving home Sunday, they all enjoyed a meal at the Lashburn fall supper.

Happy birthday to Theresa Kennedy, who celebrated her birthday last week. Sam and Barb Kennedy brought her supper and a nice birthday cake. They also took her to see her new great-grandson, Ben Aaron Buckley. He missed great-grandma's birthday by two days.

Sunday, Dale and Scott Kennedy of Lloydminster came to see their mom, Theresa, and to wish her happy birthday.

Friday, I was invited to have birthday cake with Theresa and some of her family. Congratulations, Theresa, and may you have many more.

Last Wednesday, I met my sister Beth Piché and her daughter Pat at Cut Knife. We went to the Rockhaven cemetery. We visited Faye Rowat at Rockhaven and had lunch with Mona Wade. In Cut Knife we visited with Bernice Scoular and stopped at Russell Stewart's. We suppose Russ was out harvesting, as it was a good harvest day.

Harvest seems to be coming along well. The winds have put a lot of canola in the ditch or scattered it in the fields.
