Relatives and friends of the Lundell family, who lived north of Maidstone, gathered at the Maidstone Museum July 10.
Following a luncheon provided by the family, those attending were given guided tours of the museum village buildings. All the buildings are wheelchair accessible and lunch was held in the newly erected outdoor covered dining area, which can seat up to 50 people. This is a suitable place for summer family or organization gatherings.
Museum members are getting ready for the 25th anniversary celebration to be held Aug. 10 starting with a brief church service. A commentary on the history of this volunteer organization will be followed by children's races, guided tours, wagon rides and musical entertainment and a number of demonstrations.
Noon lunch will be available as well as a cold plate supper. Watch for detailed posters closer to the date. See you there!
