Nov. 24, Paynton organizations are coming togetherto raise money for the roof re-build ofPaynton's recreation facility.
Paynton Library Board, Recreation Board, Volunteer Fire Department andFarmers' Market are hosting this all-day fundraiser. The annual Christmas Craft and Bake Sale from11 a.m. to 3 p.m. CST will be followed by supper and a music jam starting at 5 p.m.
The day will be sprinkled with talent and music from all ages to keep everyone entertained. Making this day even more fun is Danica Lorer and her many skills. Lorer will not only be painting faces but she is a professional storyteller and will be gracing us with her wonderful Christmas tales.
In-between the two majorevents, you can stick around for games like cards and puzzles, children's colouring and crafts untilRoss Currie and the Yellowhead Ramblers along with musical friends from surrounding areas get together for a jamboree starting at 5 p.m. CST.
Supper and dancing along with a silent auction and other events will keep you busy all evening. The group is still taking bookings for tables at the craft sale and also talent/musicians for the show.Everyone involved is volunteering time, moneyor food.
