Bingo was played at the Maidstone Drop In Centre Oct. 8 with Joan Smith and Bev Stewart doing the calling. Lunch was prepared by Joan Smith.
The centre was decorated for Thanksgiving and Halloween by Jean Hartman.
Cards were played Oct. 13 with Bev Stewart hosting and preparing lunch.
High score went to Jean Stewart and low to Lil McMillan.
Bingo was played Oct. 15 with Joan Smith and Bev Stewart doing the calling. Lunch was provided by Noel Coulthard. The looney pot was won by three players who decided to leave it to grow bigger.
Cribbage was played Oct. 20 with high scores going to Lil McMillan and low to Dorothy Schwartz. Lunch provided by Jean Stewart.
The August September October potluck birthday luncheon was held Oct. 22. Seated at the birthday table were Ray Stewart, Keith Weston, Jean Hartman, Daphne McLaren, Margaret MacEachern and Dorothy Schwartz. Missing were Vera Hintz, Lil Burgess and Albert Hardy. A delicious lunch was enjoyed by the 18 seniors who attended. Following lunch Bingo was played with the loony pot going to Noel Coulthard. Jean Smith and Margaret McEachern did the calling. Lunch was looked after by Bev Stewart and Dorothy Harmel.
