On Sept. 15, 10 cents from every litre pumped at Prairie North Co-op Gas Bars will go to the North East Outeach and Support Services.
Prairie North runs the gas bars in Melfort, Archerwill, Kelvington, Naicam and Spalding.
Louise Schweitzer, North East Outreach鈥檚 executive director, said this year has presented its own unique challenges as they haven鈥檛 been able to host their usual fundraisers, which they need to fund programs like their domestic violence shelter.
鈥淧rairie North Co-op鈥檚 donation from Fuel Good Day will assist us in alleviating some of that financial stress and ensure that we are able to continue to assist our clients on their journey of healing, and betterment of their situation,鈥� she said. 鈥淭hrough the variety of programs we provide at NEOSS and amazing supporters such as Prairie North Co-op, we are working to change the lives of individuals one life at a time. This affects generations to come.鈥�
The co-op will also make a $1 donation for every Co-operative Coffee or Big Cool purchase.
